Welcome to the Otters Class Page!

Welcome to Year 1!  Here you will be able to find out all about life as an Otter.  Mrs Harman and Mrs Rook are our part-time teachers and Miss Catmull is our full-time Teaching Assistant.  We have lots of fun in our class building up from a steady transition from Reception at the start of the year working towards being more independent learners ready for Year 2.  Our curriculum is fun as well as busy.  Our topics include ‘The Jurrasic Forest, ‘World Kitchens’ and ‘Seaside Rescue.  These are supported by some fantastic class trips and workshops.  We enjoy working with our parents and always welcome their support both in and out of the classroom.  We send out a weekly email to all parents informing them about what we will be covering each week in class.

We are very excited about our new topics within our creative curriculum. The topics for each term are:

Autumn Term: The Jurassic Forest

Spring Term: World Kitchens

Summer Term: Seaside Rescue

Please click the links below for information on what we are learning and how we are learning it.
